M-Files Object Type in MSSQL

Hi all,

I would like to ask if where are the object types created in M-Files stored in MSSQL? I Noticed that there are no tables created when I am creating different object types (e.g. Employee, Customer, Projects).

I created the vault setting it up using MS SQL as its database engine then created different object types. I also tried using the built-in database engine, created different object types then migrate it to SQL, but still same tables are shown/created. Just curious how will I see the stored objects in SQL when I save employee objects.

Regards,
DK
  • The M-Files database structure is complex, can change between releases and is not supposed to be accessed directly, so there's no public documentation on where you would find a specific piece of data. If you need to find this out for some purpose, you could contact our technical support and they can check with product development if this is something we can help with.

Under no circumstances should you attempt to modify the M-Files database directly or you will likely mess up your environment!
