Set View Columns via Script (Event Handler)

I don't think this is possible and I found the right way to show the columns in detail views.. You have to find the view in "M:\Vault\Detail Listings" and edit the columns there.. I always tried to modify it in detail listings tab and wondered that it didn't apply to the detail listing of another object of the same type..

Hi sweise, 

There is an option on right click in view "Save columns ..." (Forgot the name) which applies configuration to everyone. You can use it on virtual folders as well and it would apply columns, positions, sizes etc.

I know but I think this option doesn't work from detail listings tab:

It only remembers the setting for the current selected object and not for all objects of this type..

But if I open the same view outside of detail listings I can edit the columns and they are changed for every object.

So my initial question is obsolete
