Imported object does not link to workflow

When using Discovery you can set a "trigger" property and have an event handler react to this trigger and set the workflow. The same is probably possible in Smart Discovery. You should remove or change the trigger property in the process to avoid a loop.

I am currently looking at Discovery but could not find a way to set the trigger you mentioned above. Can you explain further on how can i achieve that configuration?

In the configuration for Discovery you can set a Target Property. I have used that to add a lookup property to the discovered objects and set the value to one particular item from a short value list. The event handler then responds, does its trickery and sets a different value in the property to avoid loops.
