In our ongoing dedication to constant enhancement and ensuring optimal performance of our solution, we're thrilled to unveil the latest round of product updates for October.
New Features and Enhancement highlights:
- M-Files Desktop: New client experience for Desktop available. It's finally here! This month also marks the appearance of Compliance Kit that supports M-Files Web and the new Desktop client. Value parity (and beyond) work will continue, so keep checking this space for more and more value being added to the new client each month!

- Please note that the new client requires a gRPC connection!
- M-Files Web: Improved automatic filling, prefilling and filter-based filling of metadata. All pre-filling tasks can now trigger other pre-filling tasks. For example, selecting a project can trigger filling in a customer, the customer pre-fill could trigger filling in a market segment etc.
- M-Files Admin: It is now possible to create application accounts in M-Files Admin. Application accounts are mainly used for integrations and 3rd party applications to connect to M-Files without human interaction. It is now also possible to configure these in M-Files Admin.
