New Desktop UI Release 2022

Please use this thread for any questions or feedback regarding the new Desktop UI Refresh.

Download this file for the Full Installation: New User Interface Preview - Full M-Files Installation
- This .zip package contains:
  - Setup file for installing the client
  - Two scripts (NewDesktop.bat & DefaultDesktop.bat) - one for taking the new Desktop UI into use, and another one to take it off
  - Simple instructions for installing the client and for running the scripts
  - Some changes are not available in the preview, but will be available in the November release.

We are unable to install this new Desktop, nor the Full M-Files or Preview20220927 - package. Any advice?

We are trying to install this to a computer, where M-Files already exists. From Preview20220927.zip the error message is "Installing M-Files on your computer from this installation package is not supported. You need to install from a full M-Files installation package because you have previously installed additional M-Files components". When installing from full package, the error message is "This installation package could not be opened. Contact the application vendor to verity this is a valid Windows installer package".

Installation succeeded after we extracted the package again, it did not extract fully the first time.
