New Desktop UI Release 2022

Please use this thread for any questions or feedback regarding the new Desktop UI Refresh. 

Access preview: 

  • Download this file: New User Interface Preview
  • Download this file for the Full Installation: New User Interface Preview - Full M-Files Installation
    • This .zip package contains:
      • Setup file for installing the client
      • Two scripts (NewDesktop.bat & DefaultDesktop.bat) - one for taking the new Desktop UI into use, and another one to take it off
      • Simple instructions for installing the client and for running the scripts
      • Some changes are not available in the preview, but will be available in the November release.

  • Hi,
when I open any of the added vaults through the new UI,
    it gives me the error: 

    "Access Denied" -CoScriptDelegate_Events.cpp, 414, Access is denied. (0x80070005)
IDispatchInvocation.cpp, 96, Access is denied. (0x80070005)
(M-Files 22.6.11534.5 2022-10-05T05:57:24.685Z). 

    It also happens to me when I switch from any menu to another, 
    as well as when changing the state during operation. 
    When I return to the old UI, everything opens normally.
    Does anyone have similar problems?

    Hi, can you verify which M-Files client version you are using? According to the error message, it would indicate that you would be using M-Files version 22.6.11534.5 (which is an old one).
