  • I must agree with KarloAdanic here. We have the same feedback from customers. Frowning2

  • Samuli, thank you for your information, your sugestion is an workaround that works fine for a non daily user, but please don't forgot to fix it, adding the feature or even the possibility to use the same layout than in the Web Client, that is great now.
    Thank you.

  • You can use any version of JQuery and Bootstrap that support the embedded browser engine we use.  Note that this is the older WebView (IE-based) browser, though, so you may need to step back several versions to get one which is compatible.

The Developer Portal has been updated with information on the refreshed desktop UI.  If there's specific content you want then please let me know and we can look to update it early next year.

  • Hi Benny, you cannot open the preview in the new window, but you can still have the preview open in the main client window and metadata card open in the new window. Selecting another object in the listing will then reopen the metadata card window, and the preview in the main window. Does this help in your case?

  • Hi Samuli,

I understand this as a temporary workaround, but it is counterproductive on the long run. A lot more clicking around and also counterintuitive. We should really keep things simple for end users, like it was to date, especially if it affects all users around the globe. Something M-Files was known for (ease of use) and appreciated by many satisfied users.
