Please use pictures in documentation throughout

Hi,

since I am not sure who is responsible for this i post it here.

I would greatly promote and appreciate pictures being used a lot more in documentations.

A picture is worth a thousand words we say and it's true.
Especially customer oriented documentation should strengthen the users confidence of doing the right thing by showing pictures that can easily be followed.

This is not very hard to do and is so beneficial.
It will greatly enhance adoption of M-Files.

Only my two cents.

  • Agreed, but also a word of caution: The user interface chances over time. A screenshot may become obsolete after a while. If used, it will have do be updated whenever a major change in the user interface is launched. This can become a very large challenge over time.

  • that's true but should not be a reason to abandon them :-)

good and easy to follow documentation is crucial for adoption.
New features that can't be implemented easily because of hard to follow documentation will waste much of the effort you invested in creating them.
Better documentation will make users use more if our features and stregthen their connection to M-Files.

That seems quite a good invest to me.
