Metadata AINO feature - Automatic Extract

In this first release Aino metadata extraction is designed to help you when working in the M-Files client (adding new documents to the vault or analyzing existing ones). We have plans to enable other use cases such as what you are describing later. We are only getting started!

For now, could we automate the Metadata Analyzer process using a custom script? The script could have M-Files Aino look into a view where captured documents are dropped, analyze them, and save the changes automatically.

The API has methods for automatic metadata operations so it might be possible, but I don't have experience with this or any specific guidance to give. If you need further assistance, I recommend raising a Partner Implementation Support Request via the Support Portal.

My role does not any more include developer support. As Joonas said there are options to invoke intelligence services via the API, though, so this is something you might consider.
