Save annotation as pdf

Hello there :)

I have the next situation:
I have an annotated document in MFiles. I was wondering if there is any way (API function or sth) to download the annotated document? I found a way to download the xfdf and the empty document (without the annotations in it), but then I need to use third party libraries for merging this two files.
Also as I can see, this downloading can't be done through the web service, so I was wondering if there is a way to be downloaded using the mfiles API? In the client app, there is an option for saving the annotations as PDF, so I guess there must be a way to save as annotated pdf through the api. But, what's that way? :)

  • Is it possible to automatically include a stamp as part of the workflow if the end of a workflow has been reached? I'd like to see a stamp "passed for payment" on the actual invoice, so it's instantly visible that the invoice has been through the authorisation workflow.

You can use the PDF Processor add-on to achieve this. Or if you just need to insert some metadata in the document, take a look at the Insert Field feature in M-Files Add-in for Word and Excel.

Also, is it possible to automatically convert a document with its annotations into a PDF? I know you can do this manually but I would prefer that the invoice with the passed for payment stamp is turned into a new PDF that contains the annotations (rather than having to do this manually).

Unfortunately, there is not a method for this currently.
