Creating a view in the new desktop client?

View creation will be added to the new desktop client soon, for now you can switch back to the classic desktop experience when needing to create or edit views.

Okay. I've just read the document M-Files Client Feature Comparison and can't help wondering why the new UI has already been rolled out, even though multiple useful features (creating views, advanced search, etc.) are still yet to be released.

Wouldn't it have made more sense to wait until these features were fully implemented to ensure a smoother transition for users?

This transition period gives you a chance to start testing the new UI and, for instance, update any user instructions and training materials that your organization or customers may have. Some customers also need time to update their UI extensions to be compatible with the new client or set up gRPC connections on their on-premise server.
