I was just asked the following by a user: "Is it possible to prevent "(Desktop, Web, Mobile)" from being added to the end of all hyperlinks. We don't use either Web or Mobile, so this is not relevant for any of our documents". ?

Isn't it suffient to remove the M-Files Web link from the Advanced Tab under the Vault properties (in Admin console)?
addyman: Seems that would fix hyperlinks in notification e-mails, but not the hyperlinks you get when you right-click a document and select "get hyperlink". Thanks for the suggestion though!
