Adding a document from a template to a multi-file document in a workflow

I'd like to add a document from a document template to a multi-file document in a workflow. Is that possible?

It is very complex task for an end user to do this manually. I mean you should have the template and multi-file document visible on the same view at the same time to be able to perform drag and drop operation.

  • If the system knows which file to add (e.g. it's always the same document object that is used in this workflow) then I think this could be done with scripting in the workflow state.


    How would you go about doing something like this?
