With this new capability, documents are stored directly in your Microsoft 365 environment, giving you:

Desktop co-authoring in M-Files is the first of the native capabilities. With desktop co-authoring, you can edit documents simultaneously in Microsoft 365 while M-Files organizes information, guides business processes, and automates security and compliance. Get a best-in-class authoring experience, increasing your satisfaction, engagement, and adoption.
Desktop co-authoring in M-Files is included in the M-Files Business platform subscription using M-Files Cloud at no extra cost. All you need to do is activate it in your environment.
Activate desktop co-authoring in two quick steps:
- Grant tenant-wide admin consent to the M-Files SharePoint Embedded application in Microsoft 365.
- Enable desktop co-authoring in the M-Files Admin tool vault properties.
