Hi, thanks for reporting this issue, we'll see what we could do to fix this. As a workaround, user can resize the listing area by dragging from the border line between listing and metadata card. Also, user can minimize right pane altogether by clicking the active side tab (i.e., metadata, preview, etc.) from the right side of the client .

Thanks. Does this happen with all vaults or with just the big ones? dtSearch has known performance limitations when it comes to bigger vaults with millions or just several hundreds of thousands of objects.

It was an intermittent issue. I upgraded PCs recently (Win 10 pro > Win 11 pro), and the issue seems to have fixed itself.

BTW the vaults we have range from 5K > 425K documents. The larger vaults are all running on MS SQL 2017. Fairly certain we are on dtsearch, as we are online, on premise.

Thank you for your response. In terms of versioning I mean if a document is pinned users used to be able to drag and drop an item from outside of M-Files onto the pinned document to version that document. With the new UI users are no longer able to use this functionality and it is really missed.

Do you know if there is any plan to make it possible to create a hyperlink from a pinned item?  Apologies if this has already been queried.

Hi Kelly,

we have plans to introduce the "normal" context menu to the pinned items tab. This change would also include the possibility to create a link directly from the pinned item. In the meantime, it is possible to open the pinned item into a listing (select "Show in Listing Area" from item's the three-dot menu) and create a link from there.

Just wondering in the introduction of the "normal" context menu to the pinned tab does this include reducing the size of the pinned tile?  They are quite deep in height and look chunky.  If there is a way to change the view of the pinned that would be great.  I have changed the display mode to compact layout which is better.
