Welcome to the M-Files Community! This Community is your place to get answers to questions, connect with other users, and share knowledge about M-Files. To get started:
STEP 1: Create an account. (If you had an account on the old M-Files Community prior to March 2021, follow these instructions to activate your former account instead of creating a new one.)
- Click on the icon on the upper right.
- Click "join here".
- Fill out the fields.
- We require that you provide a sign in name, your email address, your first name, your last name, your role at M-Files, and your country of residence. With the exception of your email address, and in accordance with our Privacy Policy, these fields will display on your publicly visible user profile.
- Once your account has been created, head to your profile.
STEP 2: Complete your profile.
- Click on the icon on the upper right of any Community page and select Profile.
- Click Edit Profile on the right.
- Learn more about adjusting your settings.
STEP 3: Get to know our parameters & best practices.
- Read our Code of Conduct.
- Review our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
- Return to this wiki for documentation on how best to use the M-Files Community.
STEP 4: Participate!
- Ask or respond to a question on the Forums.
- Find resources on our Learning Resources page.
- Read News & Announcements from around M-Files. (Learn how to follow a news channel here.)
