To turn on/off forum notifications
Navigate to the particular forum you're interested in. On the right hand side of the page, click turn forum notifications on/off. If you turn notifications on but choose not to set up a daily digest (see below), you will receive a notification for every new post and every new comment.
If the forum is in a group of which you are a member (i.e., the Partner Group), you are automatically subscribed to group forums with a daily digest.
Another option for turning off forum notifications: go to your settings by clicking on your icon/avatar and then settings. On the Subscriptions tab, you'll find all channels you're subscribed to. You can unsubscribe from there.
To set up a daily or weekly digest
First, navigate to the particular forum you're interested in and make sure your notifications are turned on (see above). Then, on the right hand side of the page, click email digest options. Choose daily or weekly and then click save.
Another option to for managing email digests: go to your settings by clicking on your icon/avatar and then settings. On the Email Digests tab, find all digests. You can unsubscribe from there.
To set how you get notifications
You can choose to get email notifications, live alerts, or both. Head to your settings by clicking on your icon/avatar and then settings. On the Notifications tab, you can set how you receive notifications for every action.
